Burn baby burn!! Today was a burn session. Fairly difficult I thought. Now whether I am doing it right or the instructions are not very clear I am not sure - I believe it to be the latter. I had to do the balancing on one leg with your eyes closed again, still no improvements on that and spent more time wobbling then tuning my brain with muscles. I looked like a weeble wobble lol.
Then it was the dreaded tuck jumps. They are a nightmare to do and they have topped it up to 6 tuck jumps done 3 times....3 times I tell you. My legs did not appreciate that! I have a sneaking suspicion I am going to burn tomorrow!
Seeing as its week 2 I expected a couple of new exercises thrown in to spice it up. Today's ones were the Plank and the Side Plank. On the actual exercise plan it doesn't specify how many repetitions you are suppose to do, it only mentions how long you should hold each one for. So I took it as just one plank held for 20 seconds and the same for the side plank on each side. :-)
Tomorrow is another run - 24 minutes with the intervals tweaked to 1 minute walk and 2 minute run. I did not feel anything from the run the other day and I don't appear to ache which is good but I have a feeling it will hurt tomorrow and the run is going to be tough. Even so I plan to push a bit harder to see if I can up my pace!!
Tracey has had a well deserved rest day today. I hope the liquid supper hit the spot!
Yes I am doing my exercises in a my pyjamas and wearing slippers. Its all the rage you see and I've got to keep up with trends!!
